
PLE co-founder Josh Ripple has enjoyed a diverse career in the entertainment industry as a sports agent, television producer, live event producer, sports league executive and marketing consultant. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the WTA Tour - the worldwide women’s professional tennis tour - from 2001-2004. He has participated in the creation and production of television programming, including Super Agent, produced by NBC Universal, Fox Network’s Lillehammer Revisited (the Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding first meeting since the infamous attack), and Fox Family Channel’s made-for-television movie, Ice Angel in addition to hundreds of hours of sports event broadcasts. He has consulted with major entertainment entities such as the world-renowned William Morris Endeavor, collaborating on sports strategies and successful commercial campaigns/endorsement relationships for stars such as Courteney Cox, Jennifer Hudson, Serena Williams, Naomi Judd and Nancy O’Dell. Most recently he reunited with his former StarGames co-founder and partner, Jerry Solomon, to produce the 2010 Caesars Tennis Classic and The Caesars Tribute - A Celebration of American Figure Skating. Ripple is a graduate of The George Washington University, Washington, DC, and he currently resides in Calabasas, CA.

Todd Smith, a partner in PLE, is an attorney, who brings his many years of experience in promotions and marketing, licensing and business affairs to the Company. Before law school, Todd worked for RPMC and his old friend Robert Olshever helping to develop and direct the fulfillment of many international promotions, including the “20th Anniversary of the “Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” album in England and the Michael Jackson “Bad” tour in Japan. Todd began his legal career at the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker representing some of the world’s most sophisticated companies in various litigation matters. Todd then founded the Law Offices of Helmer & Smith where, among other things, Todd represented various entertainment clients including bands, producers and directors. Most recently, through the Law Office of Todd A. Smith, Todd has helped several start-up companies succeed through a strong legal foundation and sound strategic planning, as well as providing legal services for the licensing of some of Hollywood’s best known franchises including “Terminator” and “The Twilight Saga.”
