CAESERS TENNIS CLASSIC 2010 April 10, 2010 marked the return of tennis to the Mid-Atlantic region with the inaugural Caesars Tennis Classic at the Boardwalk Hall Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey. With 39 Grand Slam singles titles between the competitors, Pete Sampras, Ivan Lendl, Mats Wilander, Marat Safin and Andy Roddick as well as the host of the event, Venus Williams, the Caesars Tennis Classic proved to be an incredible weekend of tennis for everyone involved. For the Private Label Experience Package VIP guests, however, the weekend proved to be more than just an exciting weekend of tennis. StarGames and Calabasas, CA-based Private Label Experience (PLE) launched the Caesars Tennis Classic Insider Experience program--a unique, once in a lifetime experiential package that gave the tennis fan the ultimate access to a professional tennis event. Beginning with a special invitation to the event press conference, and welcoming parties the day and evening prior to the Caesars Tennis Classic, Insider Experience guests had the opportunity of meeting, dining and taking photo’s with the players. Then on match day each Insider Experience guest was treated to an on-court clinic and hitting session with seven-time Grand Slam Champion Venus Williams (as seen on your right) and eight-time Grand Slam Champion Ivan Lendl. Front row courtside seats, backstage VIP hospitality passes, which included interviews with all the players, capped off an unforgettable weekend. WHAT THEY SAIDAs a player, I understand the importance of interacting with the fans and giving them great entertainment. To be able to do this in a way that works easily within the schedule makes it much more enjoyable for everyone. Working with StarGames, PLE was able to implement photo opportunities, clinics and parties without interrupting our practice and match routines which means the fans get a much better experience and the players are able to give their best effort. StarGames is all about creating cutting edge entertainment vehicles at our events and for our customers. We looked at the Insider Experience program as a new way to offer exclusive, behind-the-scenes access that historically has been unavailable to the retail ticket buyer. We worked with Private Label Experience to build the unique package from our existing event footprint, and then enjoyed the results of generating high margin profits without having to do any of the heavy lifting associated with the execution of the experience. “the event was as great an event for all of you as much as it was for us.
